It's always about waiting....
That's the thing about infertility it's constantly waiting for something!! If it's not waiting to save enough for the next treatment cycle, it's waiting to see if the treatment cycle was a success. Right now....it's waiting on a period! Once my period starts then I can start all the tests needed for our IVF cycle in June, and then I can get on birth control pills so I can regulate my cycles and hormones. Of course, for the past couple of months my periods have been coming like clock work, but of course the month that I need it to be on time.... it's late. The story of my life! Nothing unusual about it. My body never has liked to cooperate when it comes to having regular cycles. I know some might be thinking, OMG, you could be pregnant. The chance of that is VERY slim in fact none. We have been told we just don't have what it takes to conceive naturally. We've been given a 0-1% chance of it happening on it's own. So yeah, it's 99.9% likely we ARE NOT pregnant. LOL If my period is not here by Thursday, I will take some medicine to start it up and then we should be able to move on to the testing part of this whole process. Until then I will...well of course...I'll be waiting.....sigh....

It never fails Aunt Flo shows up late when you're hoping she'll be on time and when you don't want to see her she's there early for an extended stay.
I think the waiting is one of the worst parts of infertility. It seems like you're always waiting on something, and each period of waiting has it's own little kind of heartache attached to it. People that have not dealt with it just can't begin to fathom how the waiting makes you feel. We're going back to the doctor for our failed IVF consult on Tuesday next week - we're hoping he will give us the go ahead to try one more time in June.
I'll keep praying for you - that you make it through this period of waiting and that this time everything will come together and you'll be blessed with a baby.
